Context of the case

Our Client is a company that owns the land under a car garage in the heart of old Paris. 

The Client’s challenge was to sell the large parcel to one of the many real estate developers interested in building blocks of flats there.


Our involvement 

TERRILLON AVOCATS advised the Client in this case and undertook to analyse all the offers submitted and to examine the necessary credibility of the candidates. Fifteen real estate developers submitted offers, accompanied by their architects. For the Client, it was essential to choose the developer who offered the best value. 

Our support consisted of auditioning all interested property developers on several occasions, analysing their offers — in particular in terms of the floor area to be built — and verifying their reliability.

The selection criterion was a high, guaranteed price. The sale of the real estate or of the selling company’s assets were analysed to find the best tax optimisation.


Results obtained

TERRILLON AVOCATS provided services for nine months. The Firm selected three candidates and the Client made the final choice. The land was sold to one of the largest real estate developers in France.
